In their own words

What families have told us

Six accounts, printed as they were written. There are no ratings on this page, no scores and no averages. A number has no business here. If any of it sounds like your situation, that is the only thing it is here to tell you.

“My mum passed away last year, and I had one voicemail from her that I treasured. Having it in this bear means I can hold her close whenever I need comfort. It is carefully made, and it truly feels like she is still with me.”

All six describe the same path

A recording they already had

Each of these families found a file that already existed: a voicemail, a song, a message left before a deployment, and had it played back as it was. That is one of the two things we do.

“After losing my wife to cancer, I found an old recording of her singing our wedding song. The memorial bear with her voice has become my most precious possession. It helps our children feel close to their mother too.”

Michael Chen

Husband, Melbourne, VIC

Heart Keeper Bear

“Grandpa always told the best bedtime stories. Before he passed, we recorded one of his favourites. Now my daughter can hear great-grandpa’s voice whenever she wants. It brings three generations into one room.”

Emily Rodriguez

Granddaughter, Brisbane, QLD

Classic Comfort Bear

“We lost our son in an accident, and I had a recording of him laughing from his last birthday. Having that joy preserved in this bear brings us comfort during the hardest days. The craftsmanship is beautiful.”

David Thompson

Father, Adelaide, SA

Forever Friend Bear

“My brother recorded a message for me before his deployment. He didn’t make it home, but his words of love and encouragement live on in this bear. It’s helped me through the grieving process immensely.”

Maria Santos

Sister, Fremantle, WA

Little Guardian Bear

“Dad always hummed this old tune while working in the garage. I found a recording on his phone after he passed. Now that melody lives in this beautiful bear, and it feels like he’s still here working alongside me.”

James Wilson

Son, Sydney, NSW

Rainbow Bridge Bear

Two paths with no story here

Nobody above describes the rebuilt voice, the path where an AI voice model learns the sound of someone who has died from an old file, and reads a message you write, so the bear says something they never said. If your recording is a few scratchy seconds, that is the path that exists for you, and there is no account of it on this page.

Nobody above recorded their own voice, either. A grandparent, a parent leaving for a posting, someone at the start of an illness sitting down with sixty seconds while they still can. That is the other half of what we make, and it is not quoted here.

Your story starts with a voice

A voicemail, a song, a few words recorded years ago. If the file is short or poor, say so when you start. Rebuilding a voice from it is exactly what the second path is for.
